Oppose TABOR!
This Friday, a little known
body of appointed officials wielding tremendous power called the Tax &
Budget Reform Commission (TBRC) will be meeting to take a final vote on a
measure that will dramatically and adversely affect many Floridians if
approved.
The Florida proposal aims to impose a rigid
formula that would limit state and local spending on even the most essential
public services. If allowed to pass, Florida
would likely suffer significant funding cuts in public education, public
health, public safety, infrastructure, and disaster response. Please email your comments to the TBRC board if you can't attend the hearing tomorrow.
